Living Word Christian Fellowship was founded in 2000 by Rev Dr Curdell McLeod. Dr Curdell has been married to Herby for 50 years. Together they have 4 children and five grandchildren. Over the years they have fostered and taken care of other people’s children, and as a result their house has become a home to a diversity of nationalities who respect them as parents. As a result their own children have grown up appreciating life and people, willing to share and care.
Originally from Jamaica, both came to Britain in the 1950’s and have worked tirelessly

Curdell has been involved in Pastoral Ministry since 1988, Radio Ministry (through London’s Premier Christian Radio Station) and teaching in both Hampstead Bible College and South London Christian College. She has a valid international ministry. She is an ordained Minister with an apostolic mandate to reach the world.
Although Herby has only moved into his Pastoral ministry recently he has been very actively involved in every aspect of the ministry since 1988.
An exciting feature of Living Word is that two of their children (David and Jacqueline) are involved in the ministry.
Over the years we have worked very closely with Dr Femi Olowo and as a result have
had affiliations with the following two organisations of which he is Principal: -
South London Christian College
Jubilee International Ministers Association (JIMA)
During 2006 we felt the need to broaden our affiliations to give us a greater sense of credibility and accountability within the main church community and the education system as a whole. We believe that by working together we are able to make a more positive Christian impact on the values and quality of life within our society and our world.
